“This was our second visit to Keswick Reach and it was just as good as the first. Easy check-in, nice bar with some entertainment and food if required. The lodge was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. Shame about the weather! Some lovely walks nearby and a visit to Bassenthwaite station is a must for lunch or afternoon tea. Reservations recommended.”

“Wonderful quiet location. Fantastic views all round the park. Accommodation was great . The bar/restaurant is lovely. We had the Sunday lunch it was brilliant. Especially the roast beef. The young lady working on the bar lunchtime on the 25th was great, really helpful, great service. Check in with complimentary drinks is a great idea! The doggy welcome pack was well received too. Thank you”

“We returned a couple of weeks ago after staying in the walpole lodge.. We had a lovely stay after a couple of issues were quickly resolved. The decking hadn't been cleaned properly, which I thought would have been done before we arrived. This was resolved quickly though.. I'm not sure I would stay in this particular lodge again has when we have stayed previously in the Wainwright lodge it was much better...It is a lovely peaceful place to stay and will return in the near future. .”

“Me and my partner and 2 frenchies stayed for 4 nights. We had an amazing stay! Lodge 38 was super clean, very spacious. Only thing was tv in main bedroom didn’t work at all but wasn’t a massive issue for us. Had everything we needed in the lodge. Maintenance at resort were amazing managed to make us a dog gate so our dogs can explore there patio. Walks around the resort are so good for the dogs mine loved it! Will definitely recommend and will be back!”

“We had a wonderful stay last week as a family of 4. Our lodge was lovely and had everything we needed to make our stay a great one. We didn’t eat onsite, but did go into the bar on the being for a drink and we did the quiz there on Sunday night which was great fun. The site is lovely, really clean and tidy. Ideal Location for us to travel about. We will definitely be back for another stay! Thank you”

“This is our 3rd visit to this site. It is very peaceful and quiet. It is approximately 7 miles from Keswick. Each lodge we have stayed in has been lovely, noticed this time that some furniture in living room could do with either painting or replacing. The beds were really comfortable. The bathrooms are really good. The cooking facilities are good and there is all you need to have a meal in the lodge. They also provide washing liquid and dishwasher tablets, a scourer sponge and dishcloth along with tea towels and oven gloves, this may sound silky, but we have stayed in lodges that have not supplied anything to wash up. Unfortunately the weather was not good so we were not able to sit outside, but the furniture on the decking was good. We never used the spa, but we did use the restaurant and it was delicious and reasonably priced. The only problem I have is that everyone is checking in at 4pm, this could be staggered, I can’t see why it can’t start from 2pm, cleaners could clean these lodges first and then move on to the 3pm check in and then on to 4pm check ins. Having said that we will be back.”
